Kelly Lynn Cronin, MBA, PHR, RVT, VTS (ECC)
Kelly Cronin began her career in veterinary medicine holding horses for the local equine vet and volunteering as a kennel assistant when she was 8 years young. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin Madison with a BS in Animal Sciences, she was offered a position as a veterinary assistant at an emergency clinic, becoming licensed as a veterinary technician in Alaska in 2001 and in New Mexico in 2006. She is currently licensed as a CVT in the state of Wisconsin. Kelly has continued her education becoming Certified as a Professional in Human Resources in 2010, completing her Masters of Business Administration from Mississippi State University in 2012, and becoming certified as a Veterinary Technician Specialist in Emergency and Critical Care in 2013. In addition to advancing her education, Kelly wrote and published In the Middle, a book for veterinary technicians in management, which is now in second edition. She is a national and international speaker presenting workshops and lectures on leadership, management, and emergency and critical care medicine. She currently serves as both a moderator and instructor for VSPN, works as the CEO of Success Strategies Veterinary Consulting, and is Operations Manager for the Advanced Animal Hospital Group (a fast-growing, 14 + hospital group). In addition to her varied professional responsibilities, Kelly was a key organizer of the 2016 and 2018 VetTechLife CE on the Sea event. Kelly lives with a precocious 6 year old bilingual ninja princess, a chow mix, a Costa Rican street dog, four ridiculous cats, and a very tolerant husband.
