Dr. Lori Rockwell DVM, CCRT, KPA CTP

Dr. Lori Rockwell is a 2007 graduate of the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine. She practiced as a small animal veterinarian in southern Wisconsin for 10 years but always had a strong interest in animal behavior and rehabilitation therapy. She is the founder of Soft Touch Animal Rehabilitation Service – a mobile physical and behavioral rehabilitation service that has been in operation since 2015. She is certified in canine rehabilitation therapy by the Canine Rehabilitation Institute, silver certified in low stress handling and restraint by The Low Stress Handling University, and is a certified training partner through the Karen Pryor Academy. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants, the Pet Professional Guild and the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior. Her passions are helping clinics implement Cooperative Care Strategies in their clinic to provide a safer, gentler environment for pets and educating pet owners on normal animal behaviors, positive training methods and helping them to prevent behavior problems from arising in their pets.
